Product Features:
Titanium and Nickel Coated CBN abrasive refers to the CBN surface coated with a layer of metal by chemical plating and electroplating methods, in order to improve the adhesion between bond and CBN abrasive, reduce the thermal shock, and protect the CBN abrasive from oxidation to prolong the service life of CBN products.
Application Fields:
1. Nickel-coated CBN abrasive is mainly used to manufacture resin bonded grinding tools including dry grinding and wet grinding. The CBN has good heat dissipation ability and control ability, and can adapt to high-speed cutting environment without oxidation.
2. Titanium-coated CBN abrasive is mainly used in the manufacture of vitrified bonded, metal bonded grinding tools and brazed diamond tools. The protection of titanium can improve the physical properties and oxidation resistance of CBN abrasives.
